Welcome to the Dopamine Den!
Why I’m doing this
Since hosting my first body doubling session for my paid Substack subscribers over at the Dopamine Dispatch, I’ve received a lot of messages about how helpful it would be to have more sessions across different timezones, so I’ve decided to partner with Focused Space to offer exactly that!
I’ll still offer occasional body doubling sessions for all paid Substack subscribers at no extra cost, but if you’d like to have many more opportunities to join sessions more often, you can now use Focused Space at a special discounted rate for my followers/subscribers!
Here’s what you get when you join:
100+ live body doubling sessions every week, hosted by real humans daily
Wake-Up Call: an optional 15-minute morning session to help you start the day with a little momentum and clarity
A 24/7 "Quiet Owl" room for when you need to work at 3am and nobody's hosting
Goal-setting and braindump tools to help you prioritize and clarify your to-do list
An opportunity to chat with other ADHDers who are also getting stuff done
Optional music, timers, and guided breaks
Cameras optional, always
Drop in whenever. Sessions run back-to-back from 7am – 9pm Eastern Time every weekday, 1pm - 4pm on Saturdays, and 1pm - 4.30pm on Sundays. Come and go as needed!
A host welcomes you in and keeps things moving. Everyone else is muted and working.
25-minute sprints with short breaks. Hosts remind you to drink water and look away from the screen. Need long sprints? Check out the Power Hours, or choose to skip the breaks altogether and stay in your flow.
Share what you're working on in the chat if you want. But no pressure!
Usually 30–40 people in the room. So you don’t need to work alone or feel awkward staring at one other person.
How the body-doubling sessions work
